BelPacific was subcontracted to work with Davies Geotechnical in providing the design and project delivery of the temporary shoring aspect of the Keith Road Bridge Replacement Project.  The shoring system provides temporary support for the existing Keith Road Bridge while the site is excavated in preparation for the new adjacent bridge.  Through timely design coordination, BelPacific and Davies Geotechnical Inc. have been able to combine construction expertise and engineering knowledge to optimize the design of the project from a cost and schedule standpoint.  The scope of work includes injection bored (IBO) anchors, which were necessary due to the sandy soil conditions, and shotcrete requirements.  The design and construction schedule achieved the customer’s vision of timely project delivery and reduced costs.
